for slippers, stillness & soft light
Opening Essence
Nightcap Meadow is your cue to exhale. Honeybush and rose petals meet chamomile, linden flower and a touch of hops in a lightly sweet, floral blend made for the end of the evening. It’s naturally caffeine-free, honey-scented and meadow-soft. Put the kettle on, find your slippers, and let the evening slow to its own pace.
The Story
Every flower in this blend has been part of a quiet evening somewhere in the world.
Honeybush grows wild on the mountainsides of South Africa’s fynbos, a region known for its remarkable plant life. It’s named for the honey scent of its yellow blossoms, and it has been gathered and brewed there for generations.
Chamomile is one of the oldest herbal teas we know of. It was enjoyed by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Its name comes from the Greek for “earth apple,” after the soft, apple-like scent of its flowers.
Linden flower comes from the linden tree, a fixture of village squares across Europe, where people once gathered beneath its branches. In France, a cup of tilleul after dinner is still a beloved custom.
Hops are best known for their role in brewing, and they’ve been cultivated in Europe since medieval times. Here they bring a gentle herbal note, and a quiet wink to the name.
Nightcap Meadow brings these flowers together into one blend, from mountainside, village square and garden.
Closing Reflection
The end of the evening often arrives without ceremony. We finish one last task, then another, and the evening slips past without a pause. Nightcap Meadow is a small way to mark it. Pull on your slippers, turn down the lamps, and let the steam carry the scent of a summer meadow into your evening. At Sip Ritual, we believe how we end the evening matters as much as how we begin.
Close the curtains on the day; the to-do list can wait.
